The X Brace
The Premier Treatment for Foot Pain and Plantar Fasciitis
Foot pain? Tell it to “jog on!” when you strap up with the renowned X-Brace.
Created by doctors and widely used by athletes, the comfortable X-Brace helps you to get one step ahead of the symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis, Sever's Disease and over-pronation. The X Brace focuses its pressure on the connective tissues and tendons in the middle of your foot, because that’s where most foot pain originates. Whether you’re a runner, walker or you simply spend a lot of time on your feet, the innovative design of this pain-busting arch support brace enables you to live your life to the fullest.
One of the most impressive things about The X Brace is its success in overcoming complex issues in an incredibly simple way. It consists of two loops made out of custom elastic. The loops easily stretch around the arch of the foot and the heel. Debilitating conditions such as Plantar Fasciitis, Sever’s Disease and over-pronation are often treated with low-dye taping, splints or orthotics. The patented “X” design of this innovative foot arch support sleeve produces the same results as medical taping without the added time and inconvenience. From heel pain to muscle fatigue, the proven design of this simple foot arch support offers a quick and easy escape from painful foot conditions.
The X Brace’s low profile and innovative design fits comfortably in ANY SHOE, whether it’s a high heel or cross-trainer, and it can be taken with you from shoe to shoe or simply worn barefoot. Enables you to live life to the fullest without added time or inconvenience.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY X BRACE SLIPS? The only reason that the third generation X Brace will slip is if the size is wrong or the wearer’s foot has an unusual shape that, regardless of size selection, will not allow The X Brace to stay on. This does occur in a small percentage of people. The third generation X Brace has an integrated silicone strip running the entire length of the heel strap providing a secure grip on the heel.
WHY DOES MY FOOT HURT WHEN WEARING THE X BRACE?
There is a normal break-in period whenever a new X Brace is applied. The foot is very sensitive to touch, and pain can be present when new things apply pressure to the foot. The muscles of the foot are also sensitive and with The X Brace’s revolutionary concept of helping the foot to work better, these muscles can cramp if they are not used to performing as they should. If cramping/pain occurs, remove the brace immediately and give your foot 15 minutes rest, then return The X Brace to your foot and resume activity.
HOW DO I PUT IT ON, AND WHAT SHOULD IT LOOK LIKE ONCE I’M WEARING IT?
The X Brace main strap should be just below the ball of the foot, but worn where it is comfortable for you. The loop strap must cross over on the bottom of the feet, forming the “X” on your arches, and then hook onto the back of the heel. Once again, where you place the heel strap depends on your comfort level. We recommend not having it too high, as this might be uncomfortable for your Achilles’ tendon.
WILL THE X BRACE FIT IN MY SHOE?
Absolutely. The X Brace’s low-profile design will fit into any shoe or cleat, and is comfortable to wear with any kind of footwear, flip-flops and high heels included.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE THE X BRACE INSTEAD OF A SOLE INSERT? The X Brace offers the user something more than what the traditional treatments of foot pain, like a sole insert, ever could. An insert in your shoe provides increased padding and support for your foot, keeping your foot supported and molded correctly. The X Brace focuses its pressure on the connective tissues and tendons in the middle of your foot, because that’s where most foot pain originates. Another distinct advantage that The X Brace has is its compatibility. The X Brace fits in any shoe, whether it’s a high heel or cross-trainer, and it can be taken with you from shoe to shoe or simply worn barefoot. This type of support gives you the assurance that whether you’re on your feet or off, your pain is being addressed.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY X BRACE? It is estimated that The X Brace has approximately 200 hours of effective life before it will need to be replaced. If you’re using your X Brace during everyday workouts (4 + hours in the gym per day, five days a week), we recommend having two pairs of braces that you can wear on alternating days. This will allow the elastic to dry out and recover completely before being worn again, extending the life of both pairs.
CAN I WASH THE X BRACE? We definitely recommend that you wash your X Braces. If you’re rotating between two pairs, wash them once a week. Hand or machine wash (gentle cycle) in cold water with mild clothing detergent and air dry.
