Silipos Gel Squares

The Gel Squares are 4"x4" (10cm x 10cm) and 3mm thick. Made from medical grade mineral oil gel which cushions and is designed to soften, moisturise, protect, and cushion the skin against shear and abrasive forces. The squares can be cut to preferred size and are available with a self-adhesive backing or without a backing as an all gel square.

  • Helps absorb pressure and shear forces; also helps to protect skin and prevent skin breakdown.
  • Interface for orthotics / hand splints.
  • Ideal for the diabetic insensitive foot.

Directions for Use

Recommended Care:

We recommend that you hand wash the product with mild soap and water. Air dry product and lightly dust gel pad with talcum powder after drying.

Directions for Use:
  • Wash and dry affected area.
  • Cut to desired shape if necessary. Place product onto affected area with gel in contact with the skin. (For product without self-adhesive backing apply wrap dressing to hold product in place. Product with self-adhesive backing will easily adhere to a brace or dressing.)
  • Remove product at least 3 to 4 hours daily to allow skin to breathe.
Caution:

Do not place product on an open wound. If irritation, discomfort or poor circulation occurs, discontinue use and notify your physician immediately. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Small part choking hazard. Contains and releases mineral gel oil. To prevent excess moisturisation, To prevent maceration (excessive softening / breaking down of the skin) do not wear for more than 8 hours in every 24.
